Board of Supervisors
Regular meetings of the Board of Supervisors occur on the second Thursday of the month. From April through October, the meetings begin at 7AM and from November through March, the meetings begin at 1PM. All meetings are held at the District office (2211 W Dolarway Rd, Ste 4, Ellensburg) unless otherwise stated. Meeting minutes and agenda may be viewed here.

Anna Lael (District Manager)
Anna was hired by the KCCD in 1997. She grew up on a farm in the Kittitas Valley. Anna is a graduate of Kittitas High School and Washington State University where she earned a B.S. Natural Resource Management in 1995. Anna oversees all KCCD projects, programs and staff. She is directly responsible to the KCCD Board of Supervisors. She can be reached at (509) 925-3352 ext. 207
Miranda Nash (Financial Manager)
Miranda was hired by KCCD in 2016. She grew up in Ellensburg, a fifth generation on the family farm. With an interest in Agriculture she attended YVCC where she received an AAS in Agribusiness Management. Miranda manages the finances and administrative activities for KCCD. Sherry Swanson (Project Manager)
Sherry was hired by the KCCD in 2006. She is an Evergreen State College graduate where she earned a BA in Environmental Studies with a focus on wildlife conservation and agriculture in 1995. Prior to KCCD, Sherry worked as a back country guide in the Teanaway Valley and as a farm planner for the San Juan and King Conservation Districts. Sherry is managing the Manastash Creek Restoration Project and she is a certified conservation planner. She can be reached at (509) 925-3352 ext 206.
Ryan Roberts (District Engineer)
Ryan was hired by the KCCD in 2006. He is a graduate of Lyle High School and Washington State University where he earned a degree in Civil Engineering in 2003. Ryan obtained his Professional Engineer license in January 2009. He provides engineering support for numerous KCCD projects, while also serving the Okanogan, Foster Creek, South Douglas and Cascadia Conservation Districts as the North Central area engineer. Mark Crowley (Conservation Planner)
Mark was hired as by the KCCD in 2002. He grew up in Kansas and is a graduate of Washington State University where he earned a B.S. Agricultural Economics in 1992. Mark was the Cattle Manager for the Blue Rock Cattle Company prior to working for the KCCD. He is responsible for the Irrigation Efficiencies Program and various YTAHP projects for the KCCD and he is a certifed conservation planner. Mark can be reached at (509) 925-3352 ext. 205.
Brent Dixon (Natural Resource Project Manager)
Brent was hired by the KCCD in 2019. Prior to 2019, he spent more than 3 years working for the Natural Resources Conservation Service as a soil conservationist and five years as a resource technician at KCCD. He is a graduate of Kittitas High School and Washington State University (B.S. Natural Resource Sciences '09). Brent provides GIS support to all KCCD projects and manages projects included in the Voluntary Stewardship Program and the FireWise/Fuels Reduction programs. Wendy Mee (Resource Technician)
Wendy was hired by the KCCD in 2018. She grew up in the Kittitas Valley, graduating from Ellensburg High School. She earned a B.S. in Plant Sciences/Horticulture from Central Washington University in 1998 and a Masters in Landscape Architecture from Utah State University in 2002. Wendy worked for 13 years on the Yakima Training Center conducting vegetation assessments and wildlife surveys. Prior to that, she owned her own landscaping business. Nathan Longoria (Resource Technician)
Nathan was hired by the KCCD in 2019. He grew up in the Kittitas Valley, graduating from Ellensburg High School and earning a B.S. in Biological Sciences in 2008 from Central Washington University. Nathan's past work includes several years with the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife as a wildlife biologist and scientific technician and as a fisheries biologist with Yakama Nation Fisheries. Nathan was hired to provide assistance in the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service Ellensburg Field Office. He can be reached at (509) 925-8585 ext 2.
